Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a well-known travel group who are recruiting a Head of Impact to join their senior leadership team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
As Head of Impact, you will lead the group's education and climate action strategy, developing a coherent framework that enhances the positive impact of programmes while driving progress towards net zero. You will refine carbon measurement and reduction plans, manage compliance with validation bodies, and generate progress reports. Alongside this, you will be responsible for educating students on climate and sustainability while they travel.
You Will Have:
• Background in education at secondary or university level
• Understanding of, or passion for climate change mitigation
• Experience inspiring change at senior level and working cross-functionally
• Ability to work independently and proactively across a broad portfolio
• Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
• Willingness to travel internationally and work flexibly where required
Additional Info:
• Salary £38-45,000 depending on experience
• Ideally based in Hampshire, with remote working considered for the right candidate
