Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with an Adventure Tour Operator who are recruiting a Digital Marketing Executive to join their small team in London.
The Role:
As Digital Marketing Executive, you supporting the Head of Digital across SEO, website management and digital reporting. This will involve weekly performance checks using tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console and Otterly AI, keyword tracking & research, website optimisation and maintenance across two WordPress sites, coordinating with developers on fixes and larger CRO, user experience, and building automated reporting dashboards in Google Suite (Looker, GA4 & Google sheets).
You Will Have:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a B2C digital marketing position
Experience of working and managing agencies
Knowledge of updating CMS
Good understand of GA4, Looker Studio and Google Sheets
3 years experience of SEO experience, utilising SEO tools

The Role:
As Head of Sales & Operations, you will manage the sales and customer service team, working closely with the Customer Operations Manager and taking responsibility for how the team performs. You will use sales figures and customer feedback to spot what is working and what needs improving, help increase bookings and booking values, make sure customers have a great experience from enquiry to booking, and work closely with the CEO as the business grows.
You Will Have:
• Proven experience managing a team, ideally including experience of managing or developing another manager
• Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to use data and KPIs to drive performance and make informed decisions
• A strong understanding of the customer journey and how to improve both customer experience and commercial performance
• Experience working with metrics such as conversion, average booking value, margin and cost of sale
