Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a multi-award-winning travel business who are recruiting an Aviation Operations Manager to join their team.
The Role:
As Aviation Operations Manager you will oversee and develop a team responsible for managing airline bookings, schedule adjustments, and related financial processes. You will focus on improving workflows through process optimisation and automation, ensuring smooth operations that support both customer satisfaction and business objectives. You will also act as the primary point of contact between the operations team and customer-facing departments, representing the team in any operational incidents when needed.
You Will Have:
- Proven experience in aviation operations, with strong knowledge of airline group agreements and group tour operating procedures
- Amadeus trained across operations, fares, and ticketing, including group and tour operator fare management
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing a team
- Strong organisational, analytical, and commercial awareness
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive problem-solving skills and process improvement experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Flexible and self-motivated, comfortable working independently with a commitment to quality
