Latin America Travel Specialist (GTR1594)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are thrilled to be working with this luxury tour operator who are seeking an experienced Latin America Travel Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Latin American Travel Specialist you will have a deep knowledge of Latin America as a destination and deliver an exemplary and tailored service, meeting each client's individual needs and preferences by offering a friendly and professional service. You will use your travel expertise, knowledge and insight to advise, inspire and arrange all aspects of their bespoke holiday.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a newly created role, where you will take the lead in establishing and shaping the foundations for the Latin America division.

The role:

• Curating unforgettable holidays for clients while overseeing the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to ensuring full customer satisfaction post-travel
• Responding to and managing Latin America travel enquiries ensuring each opportunity is followed up in a timely manner
• Working to maximise trips' positive impact both on the travellers and on the places they're exploring
• Working with the Head of Sales and the Content Manager to fine-tune the entire product portfolio for Latin America
• Managing and maintaining exceptional relationships with our partners on the ground
• Providing an exceptional level of service ensuring that clients receive an exceptional experience ensuring repeat business opportunities

You will have:

• Minimum 2 years experience working for a luxury tour operator with a specialism in Latin America
• Previous experience in a similar travel sales consultant role with the drive to meet sales targets
• Extensive knowledge of Latin America as a destination
• Passion for delivering outstanding personal service and willing to go the extra mile for our clients
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure

Additional Information:

• Salary £30,000 plus commission
• Lucrative commission structure
• Monday to Friday role (no weekends)
• Flexible working - ideally hybrid and based within commuting distance of London but fully remote will be considered
