Gecko Travel Recruitment are excited to be working with this wonderful tour operator who are seeking a Livechat Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Livechat Coordinator you will provide efficient, courteous, and prompt assistance to both new web visitors and existing clients. Your responsibilities will include answering questions about resorts and accommodations, fulfilling client requests, and generating holiday enquiries for our Account Managers.

Previous experience in a customer service role within travel and first-class customer service skills are essential to be considered for this role.

The role:

  • Handling the chat function on the website
  • Performing real-time research to identify the best answer or solution for the customer
  • Generating leads to pass over to the Account Managers
  • Identifying upselling opportunities
  • Meeting KPI's for customer satisfaction and chat quality
  • Collecting customer data and accurately entering it into the inhouse system

You will have:

  • Previous customer service experience within the travel industry (essential)
  • Ability to type a minimum 40 words per minute
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Keen interest in winter sports
  • Ability to multitask
