Gecko Travel Recruitment are excited to be working with our Tour Operator client who are looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their team.
As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely management accounts. You will also be responsible for the balance sheet control accounts and process improvements.
You will have 2-5 years experience in a similar finance role with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
The role:
- Production of the management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Month end processes including month end journals
- Maintain accurate balance sheet control accounts including: prepayments and accruals, stock, deferred revenue and intercompany accounts
- Petty cash management
You will have:
- 2-5 years experience in a similar finance role
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Travel industry experience would be desirable.
- Power BI experience desirable
- IFRS experience desirable
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified desirable
