Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a leading tourism company who are recruiting a Data Analyst to join their team.
The Role:
As Data Analyst, you will collect, analyse, and interpret data to support strategic and operational decision-making across the business. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver actionable insights that enhance performance, efficiency, and profitability. The role also includes developing dashboards, optimising data processes, and supporting key commercial initiatives.
You Will Have:
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage large datasets
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
• Experience in data cleaning, modelling, and business intelligence reporting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (desirable)
• Experience within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector is advantageous
