Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a Destination Management Company who are recruiting a French Speaking Travel Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
As French Speaking Travel Executive, you will manage enquiries and bookings for group travel, from start to finish - from initial enquiry through to proposals, confirmations, and final booking preparations. You will also create bespoke itineraries, liaise with suppliers to arrange transport, accommodation, meals, attractions, theatre tickets, guides and VIP experiences. You will represent the company at networking events, FAM trips and trade shows in the UK and overseas so the flexibility to travel is essential.
You Will Have:
• Fluency in French and English
• Previous experience in the travel industry OR a genuine passion for travel
• Sales experience
• Full UK driving licence (essential) and access to a car (desirable)
• Ability to work well within a small team
• Confidence to network at trade shows and travel events
Additional Info:
• Salary £24-26,000 depending on experience
• Hybrid working model (4 days in the office, 1 day from home)
