Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a luxury travel business who are recruiting a German Travel Reservations Specialist to join their team.
The Role:
As German Travel Reservations Specialist you will manage bookings for self-guided walking and cycling trips, ensuring every aspect of the customer's journey is perfectly arranged. You will work across a range of destinations, with a focus on German-speaking clients, converting enquiries into confirmed itineraries, delivering exceptional client service, and building long-term relationships. You will collaborate with the Product and Operations teams to maintain up-to-date destination knowledge and represent the brand as a trusted advisor for customers.
You Will Have:
• Fluent German (spoken and written)
• Passion for travel and ideally knowledge of active, adventure destinations
• Experience in reservations, travel operations, or customer-facing roles
• Confident and professional manner, able to build trust and loyalty with clients
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively
Additional Info:
• Salary: £26,500
• Hybrid working model - 3 days per week in the Glasgow office and 2 days working from home
