Reservations Consultant (GTR1786)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a leading travel company who are recruiting a Reservations Consultant to join their team either in London or Birmingham.

The Role:

As Reservations Consultant, you will handle customer enquiries efficiently and professionally, ensuring service levels are maintained at all times. You will provide advice on worldwide and European destinations, create and cost complex itineraries, and maximise sales opportunities by offering additional services such as accommodation, car hire, transfers, and upgrades. The role also involves booking amendments in GDS, promoting monthly incentives, and supporting administration across the reservations team.

You Will Have:

• Strong worldwide travel and airline knowledge
• Proven experience in reservations or sales within a travel environment
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
• Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
• Proficiency in GDS (Amadeus preferred) and Microsoft Office
