Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with specialist tour operator who are recruiting a Senior Asia Sales Consultant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asia travel specialist who is hungry, dynamic and ready to take the next step into a supported leadership role, with the opportunity to ultimately progress into an Asia Team Leader position.

The Role:

As Senior Asia Sales Consultant, you will create and sell exceptional tailor-made holidays across Asia and the Indian subcontinent, while playing a key role in growing and developing the Asia team. You will use your strong destination knowledge and existing industry relationships to create bespoke itineraries, build relationships with clients and suppliers, and drive sales.

You Will Have:

• Proven experience in tailor-made travel sales, specialising in Asia and/or the Indian subcontinent

• Strong destination knowledge and first-hand travel experience across Asia, India, Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia, the Himalaya and/or Japan

• Excellent sales skills and a hunger to grow the Asia business

• Existing relationships with DMCs, hotels and other suppliers

• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members, or a genuine desire to move into a leadership role

• A dynamic, proactive and ambitious approach

• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
