Worldwide Travel Consultant | Office based | North London | Salary £25-28,000 + Commission
Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a multi-award-winning travel business who are recruiting a Worldwide Travel Consultant to join their team.
The Role:
As Worldwide Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for handling incoming sales calls from trade travel clients, providing expert travel advice and creating accurate flight quotations. You will use your sales skills, destination knowledge and Galileo GDS experience to maximise sales opportunities, build strong customer relationships and deliver an excellent level of customer service.
You Will Have:
- Previous travel sales experience (essential)
- Strong Galileo GDS experience
- Excellent geographical and destination knowledge
- Strong understanding of the travel sales process
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- A strong sales focus with the ability to maximise revenue and promote ancillary products
- Ability to work calmly and make quick decisions under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
- A positive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to support the wider team
Additional Info:
- Salary £25,000-£28,000 depending on experience, plus commission
- Team commission of up to £4,000 per year
- 1 in 3 Saturdays required, with a day off during the week in lieu
- Fully office based in North London
