We can hardly believe it, but here we are – FIVE years old! 🎂

Who would have thought, when we were making plans to launch our own recruitment business coming out of COVID (with absolutely no idea what the future would hold), that we’d be here today?

As we say every year (and yes, we really, really do!), it’s been a rollercoaster 🎢. At this point, we’ve fully accepted that this is just part and parcel of running your own recruitment business, especially in the travel industry! But like every year before, we’ve grown – both as a business and as people – and we’re endlessly grateful to be doing what we love 🦎

This past year has been… let’s be honest, a tricky one for the travel industry. With many factors impacting our beloved sector, businesses have had to rethink strategies to minimise disruption. In turn, recruitment has, at times, slowed down, belts have been tightened, and companies have had to adapt to ever-changing landscapes. Personally, we’ve had to dig deep, go back to basics, keep a close eye on overheads, and rethink a few things along the way – the brutal reality of running a small business.

That said, we’ve been incredibly lucky to have such a loyal client base – those who come back time and time again, some who recommend us to their colleagues, and even beyond their own businesses to their wider networks (you know who you are – we love you 🫶).

And of course, our candidates – those who trust us to help you find your next (and hopefully dream!) role. It’s something we never take for granted – thank you! 💜

It’s been a year full of challenges, wins, and plenty of lessons learned, with probably more curveballs than we’d like to admit. Despite it all, there’s still been so much to celebrate. From new relationships to big wins, it’s been another year of growth, resilience, and keeping things moving (even when it felt tough!).

Cheers to Year 5! 🥂 And after our most challenging year yet, we’re quietly hoping for a slightly smoother ride in the year ahead 🤞
