Business Development Manager (GTR1780)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a leading international travel business who are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This is a remote-based role with regular travel across Europe, particularly the DACH region, and occasional visits to the London head office.

The Role:

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new business across European markets, with a strong focus on the DACH region. You'll build and maintain long-term client relationships, identify new opportunities through networking and outreach, and present tailored financial and operational solutions.

You Will Have:

• 3+ years' experience in B2B sales (travel industry experience a highly advantageous)
• Strong client relationship and account management skills with (experience in European markets advantageous)
• Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills with a hunter mentality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong commercial acumen and results focus
• Fluency in German is advantageous
• Willingness to travel extensively and attend trade shows and travel conferences

Additional Info:

• Salary up to £38,000 plus commission (OTE up to £50,000)
• Remote-based within the UK (with a visit to London twice per month)
• Requirement to travel extensively within Europe and attend fam trips and trade shows/travel conferences
