Head of Finance (GTR1752)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a successful Tour Operator with a reputation for delivering exceptional ski holidays. They are now looking for a Head of Finance to join their growing team.

The Role:

As Head of Finance, you'll lead the finance function and work closely with the Managing Director to support commercial strategy and operational excellence. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong technical skills, SME experience, and a collaborative approach.

You Will Have:

• A professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA preferred)

• Strong hands-on experience in all areas of SME finance

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (Power BI / VBA)

• Good understanding of IT networks and systems

• A commercial mindset and attention to detail

• Experience managing a small finance team

• Ideally experience in travel and or ski holidays (not essential)

Additional Info:

• Salary £65,000-£80,000 depending on experience

• Hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week (including Tuesdays and Wednesdays) in the office. 

• Hours 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday
