Reservations Consultant (GTR1823)

Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a leading Tour Operator who are recruiting a Reservations Consultant to join their team.

The Role:

As Reservations Consultant you will engage with the general public and travel agents, handling enquiries and selling package holidays to destinations worldwide. You will manage the full booking process from initial quote through to confirmation, including flights, accommodation and transfers, while delivering exceptional customer service at every stage. You will create bespoke island-hopping itineraries using the in-house reservations system, liaise with external suppliers to fulfil special requests, and ensure all booking administration is completed accurately.

You Will Have:

• Travel industry experience advantageous but not essential
• Genuine passion for travel and knowledge of overseas destinations
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent knowledge of computers and MS Office - experience using Ivector is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible working hours
